Welcome to the firm website for Legalixa Turkish Immigration Law Firm. The firm was founded in 1992, and its partners have a wealth of experience in dealing with complex legal issues, real estate law matters, litigation, immigration law matters, and Turkish citizenship. Our attorneys work as a team to provide strategic and cost-effective legal solutions.
We have been helping our clients to get Turkish citizenship from various countries including; Iran, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Tunis, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Macao, China, Djibouti, USA. We have in depth information regarding how to prepare legal documents in each country. We also have signed collaboration agreements with immigration agencies in USA, Canada and UK.
We also perform services for property purchase in Turkey for foreign clients. Our services include legal preparation before buying a real estate. We check whether the real estate tax payments are in good standing, check the local municipality whether the property has all necessary licenses. Legalixa Immigration Law Firm was formed with the goal of building a world-class law firm singularly focused on serving the needs of foreign clients. Selcuk Akkas, the firm’s founding partner, launched Legalixa to provide clients with skilled legal counseling utilizing a flexible billing structure based on their individual situations and objectives. With offices located in Istanbul, Turkey, our firm is well-positioned to meet the diverse demands of global immigration practice. Our attorneys have substantial experience and have practiced law at the highest levels throughout their careers and well experienced in EB5 and E2 visas.
Mr. Akkas started to work for Eczacibasi Ilaç Pazarlama, largest pharmaceutical company in Turkey, in 1994. He gained experience in business law and in intellectual and industrial property rights law here. He resigned in 1998 to move to the USA to improve his legal English and to study master’s degree. He lived in Houston, Texas from 1998 to 2006, studied legal English courses and graduated a master’s degree on American and international law at Lone Star College. He returned to Turkey in 2006 and started to practice in immigration law.
In addition to the above mentioned master’s degree, he worked as an intern at various American companies, University of Houston and Karadag Law Office in Houston to gain first hand experience in US immigration law and international law.
